Before our "road trip", we decided to try a new place around the neighborhood.

Today, we drove down south to visit the Lehmans.

The Lehmans wanted to take us somewhere special for lunch -- a little "local" color...

I had these gigantic pancakes. Val told me to put my hand in the picture to give everyone a perspective of the size.

Karen had tacos.

Val had the calamari roll.

Rachel was happy to see her meal.

After the meal, we took a stroll down to the beach.

Jim found this bug on Val's back. Rachel came to her rescue -- saved both Val and the bug!

We all went to this park to "find ourselves" -- we got scolded for being too loud.

Huge koi fish could be seen feeding in a pond.

Here are the Lehmans enjoying the park.

Karen wanted to get in the picture too... so, she squeezed out Jim.
